What Fosthiazate Is
Fosthiazate belongs to the organophosphate chemical class. It works in soil against nematodes by interfering with their nervous system. You apply it before or at planting so the active reaches the root zone where nematodes feed.
It's a contact and systemic nematicide. The compound moves into roots and protects young plants during early growth. It doesn't kill nematode eggs, so timing matters. Apply when nematode populations are active in the soil.
