What Thiodiazole Copper Is
Thiodiazole copper is a copper-containing fungicide used against bacterial plant diseases. It combines a thiadiazole group with copper ions. The copper part disrupts bacterial cells on contact, while the thiadiazole part can affect bacterial metabolism. This dual action makes it useful where copper alone may be less effective.
It's applied as a protectant. You'll often see it in programs for bacterial leaf spots, blights, and soft rots. The mode of action is contact and protective, so coverage matters. It doesn't move systemically through the plant. You need to reapply to protect new growth.

CHICO offers thiodiazole copper as suspension concentrate (SC). You can buy it as a 20% single-active SC or as an 18% thiodiazole copper plus 2% kasugamycin SC. SC formulations pour easily and mix well with water. They don't create dust during handling.
