Choosing Between Emamectin and Abamectin
If your main problem is caterpillar larvae like bollworm, leaf roller, or diamondback moth, emamectin benzoate is usually the stronger choice. It's less active on spider mites than abamectin, so don't rely on it alone for mite outbreaks.
Abamectin remains a workhorse for mites and leafminers. It's often the first choice when mites are the primary pest, but resistance in spider mites is widespread. Rotate with other mode-of-action groups.
